    nice having a drink with you last friday – it was a bit noisy though ! I really enjoy your Episode #3 and did the same testing on oracle 9i : it has the same behaviour on 9205 and 9207 except the number of buckets that was only 200 instead of 254. Question : where does Oracle store the information about the type of query ? It’s not in memory structures because I had the same result with an instance reboot before the second stats calculation.
